Promoting participatory video (PV)
Taalim-Forum is involved in promoting participatory video among local communities and different groups since 2008 when partnership relations with InsightShare Company were established and the first training on preparing PV facilitators was organized in
In 2010 Taalim-Forum conducted PV trainings in collaboration with local NGO called Community Development Alliance (CDA) working in rural communities in all regions of the republic. We conducted a training in Toktonalievo village (Chui region) in August; led the first day of the training “We film by ourselves” in Bishkek organized for the group of community leaders working with CDA. We also conducted training for the group of AUCA students involved in the project of the Museum Initiatives NGO in May 2010.
