The idea of organizing festivals was to demonstrate to a wider public the films created by the ordinary people from rural communities.

The festival called "People on the Earth" was aimed to voice concerns and thoughts about our land, people living on it, cultivate it, grow crops, fruits and vegetables, and bake their own bread. By the festivals we wanted to draw people's attention to the problems of our land, people's concerns and relationship to it. Our land should remain as beautiful as we received it from our ancestors, we should try to keep it as beautiful and fertile for our future generations.

There were two festival organized – in 2008 and 2009.

2008 – The Festival was held in the Cinema House in Bishkek. There were presented 10 PV films (Read more).

2009 – The Festival was held in the hall in the Historical Museum. There were presented another 10 PV films (Read more).

"Taalim-Forum" has developed a manual for PV facilitators and is open for cooperation with other organizations. We and ready to train community leaders and groups in using PV method in order to strengthen capacity of local people, improve their well-being and living environment.
