Public Foundation "Taalim Forum" was established in May 2006 by the initiative of university teachers.

Mission:

Taalim-Forum is interested in promoting interdisciplinary approaches in education, innovative teaching methodologies through development of partnership relations with regional and international organizations.

Kyrgyz word Taalim meaning Education reflects the mission of the organization, which is aimed at supporting educational initiatives, development of interdisciplinary approaches in teaching and learning.

The word Forum means Open ground for all interested groups and individuals to share and exchange ideas and views on variety of educational issues.

The objectives of the foundation:

• To spread innovative methodologies in teaching and alternative pedagogies through organization and conducting of the seminars, forums, round tables, and exhibitions;
• Development, issuing and distributing scientific and educational publications, methodological handbooks and other printing materials;
• Development and promotion of interdisciplinary study courses;
• Development and realization of the projects for development of leadership and organizational abilities and research skills;
• Establishment and development of educational and research resource centers; Participation in establishing of educational associations.
