Lecturer: Emil Djaparovich Shukurov – Doctor of Geographical science, Candidate of Biological science, Leader of Aleine movement
The aim of Shukurov’s lecture is to provide an understanding of interaction between a human being and nature. It is about main mechanisms of ecosystems’ functioning which support and rehabilitate the ecological, climate stability and human existence conditions.
Shukurov brought up a certain definition for the ecological situation - current condition and natural environment’s tendency to change (living nature and abiocoen), impact of human beings to environment.
The main component of the lecture was newly introduced and brought in concept by Shukurov - The ecological will. According to the author, it is a deliberate aspiration for implementation of actions which stimulate improvement of ecological situation, the ability to fulfill these actions and achieve one’s goals.
The level or even degree of ecological will varies in modern society: some people understand more and are aware about real ecological situation and try to minimize their impact on ecology, while others never think about these issues which states about low level of ecological will.
The ecological will, according to Shukurov, is a driving force of ecologically oriented activity that aims at the real positive action: harmonization of relationships between human and nature.
The Ecological will is the basis of consciousness ecologization and of active actions. “Without it, there is no aspiration for ecological knowledge and the vector of consciousness ecologization, transformation of knowledge into persuasion, and persuasion into the ability to act”.
